Rain Check...

A work in progress... my Surly Cross Check- Cyclocross/commuter/training when the weather sucks and the trails are too muddy to ride, ride. I have been freaking-out for the past three weeks trying to get this frame & fork. Now that I have them, I can't wait to put on some miles! I'll be taking her into the LBS for the finishing touches with hopes of a weekend ride. Special thanks to a few of the local "woodchuck's" for hooking me up big-time to get this bike rolling!

Congrats on the new ride, though I'd recommend a chain and a rear cog before heading out this weekend. Unless, of course, it's all downhill!

Also, are you setting it up single or geared? I noticed the double chainring up front and it made me curious.

Peace!

I think I am going to be a sinner and put gears on this one until I figure out how to ride it!

Gears? GEARS?! Oh. My. Goodness! ;o)

Enjoy, of course!

Peace!

Just think. If it weren't for us sinners, the rest of the hypocrites wouldn't have anything to talk about on Sunday morning.
Gear it up...c'mon, you can sin a little.

Oh, don't worry, geared up I am--two out of three steeds in my quiver (like that mixed metaphor?) are of the geared nature. But shhh, don't tell--I've some Sunday AM hypocritin' to do! ;o)

Peace!

...and now that sunday's rejoicing and hypocritin' is all done, it's time to sin the week away!
